The original story of 'Die Zauberflöte' is about the battle between light and darkness. This theme forms the basis for the story about the search of the young prince Tamino, who falls in love with Pamina, the daughter of the Queen of the Night. De Tooverfluit is inspired by the combination of Mozart's musical genius and his childlike naïveté and it is based on one of his most famous opera's.

PoY! is an opera in a fantasy language on a girl named Henriëtte, written especially for the littlest ones. The cellist who lives in the same house as Henriëtte practices so much that she is getting quite fed up with her play.

Incidental meetings and open-hearted conversations in a snack bar. None of the clients come here just to buy a bag of chips or a snack. Snack bar owner Eddy sees them come and go: the taxi driver, the whore, and the boys and girls from the neighbourhood.

Except for the concertos and operas which made him famous, Mozart also wrote a lesser known repertoire of songs. Four young French singers and a Dutch actor perform these songs in an unconventional setting.

Frank Groothof presents his version of Die Zauberflöte, in which Prince Tamino tries to liberate his sweetheart. His magic flute helps him to do so, but also antihero Papageno, who prefers catching birds to searching adventure.
